Interactive database on the web

Not sure if I am in the right group but here goes. I have a
windows 2000 server. I use access and excel spreadsheets
for a database. I am experienced with these programs but I
have very little knowledge of implementing interactive
databases thru the web. Could someone point me to some
sources or books I can aquire to learn how to do this? Thanks
