I cannot open PDF files in an pages.
I have restet the default settings in my advanced
preferences.

What now

In your Adobe Acrobat (or Reader) there should be an option under
Preferences for you to "Display PDF in browser". Is that what you are
missing?

i tried this option and it is checked or enabled
