We have integrated Business Contact Manager (BCM) with SharePoint so that BCM
users can access all account, contact records from a document ribbon in the
BCM UI. They can aslo scan documents directly from BCM.

Business Contact Manager stores data in SQL Database; you have a couple of
tools to choose from:

Create a Data View web part in SharePoint Designer, this allows you to
display information from a SQL database, but has the ability to also update,
add and delete records in the SQL database:

Add a data base as a data source:

Create a data view:

Or SharePoint BDC : this allows you to display information from a SQL
database.
