Integers entered mysteriously divided by 100

My Excel XP all of a sudden divides any integer I enter
into blank spread sheet by 100. If I enter 123456 into
any cell it displays as 1234.56. Any Ideas anyone ?

Go to Tools/Options/Edit and uncheck Fixed Decimal
