How would one go about unistalling Internet Explorer and then
re-installing it?

I was advised by Verizon to do this so that it wouldn't open with
"MS INTERNET EXPLORER CUSTOMIZED FOR VERIZON ON LINE."

Hello,

You do not need to re-install Intern Explorer to remove the "Provided by" branding. Here is a KB

Hi,

you don't need to un and re-install IE to do this ! Go to :

Go to #8 right column ( with courtesy of Kelly )

This should be the fix to remove the "branding". But if you still want to
re-install, just look at the same page for the install link !
