Insufficient Memory Photo Story 3- Help Appreciated

Hello
After many months of no problems at all, lately I have been unable to make a
..wmv file or burn a DVD with the Sonic plugin. It does, however, save the
changed Project file.
In summary, here is what I have found. I can import about 100 or more
pictures and move them around, add music, no problem. The program works.
Lately, if I add any pictures afterwards, I would get the memory insufficent
notice.
So on my last try, I didn't add any pictures.
I loaded the 100 pictures, put in the music and everything seemed ok. I
reopened the project file and all I did was add a few transitions. The total
size of the file only went from 100 megs to 105 megs, and now PS3 will save
the project file but will NOT allow me to save a computer copy (.wmv) or burn
a DVD . I'm not surprised it won't allow me to do both since it seems to go
throught the same steps. The error message which has no number basically says
something like:
Insufficient disk space, perhaps corrupt files, reload the program and media
player and try again. I have reloaded both from the website and from hard
drive but no help yet.
As a final test, I uploaded a smaller file that I had used previously, I
edited a few transitions and it all saved properly. Hmmmm

Any suggestions, I'm out of ideas.

well, you might need a more powerful
computer. Sometimes buying more ram
can help. However:

you can get more ram/memory without
physically buying a chip by dedicating
your system to solely to process of making
your movie.

i suggest to temporarily disable all
your startup programs that are preloaded
in memory. They are listed in msconfig.

then run a chkdsk, cleanmgr and a defrag.

then be sure not to get on the net
or launch any programs for it while
your memory is dedicated to movie making.

if you do launch any extra programs, then
you will loose the extra power you need
for movie making.

then look into your virtual memory and
make sure your custom sizes are set to
min of 2 and a max of 1152, then reboot

you might want to go to
www.amsn.ro
and download the freeware.

other than the movie making
software, the memory manager above
should be the only thing that is
running so that you can monitor your system......

after you movie making is a success, return
to normal by enabling your startups, antiviral, etc....

other than the above, if you still can't make
a movie then i don't think the o.s. is at
fault....

Hi
thanks for the feedback, I think I've solved it. When I deleted the program
originally I used the website's format. This time, I used the control panel,
Add-Remove, and then downloaded the new program to my hard drive rather than
"run" from the website.

Seems ok so far
