I used to be able to log on to AOL when I clicked on the ICON. It went
direstly online. It isn't something connected to AOL, I know that. I have my
password stored but I still have to click SIGN ON. It is someway to set up
the icon. Can anyone help? Thank You, Christine

The AOL software has the setting to store and remember the account password
when using their software to sign on to the service directly. If accessing
their web interface.... I haven't used AOL in many months so don't recall
if they store the password in a cookie or not. They might. So if using some
kind of "cleaning" or maintenance software that removes cookies, might want
to try skipping that step to see if leaving the AOL cookies in place allows
automatic sign on. If you continue to have trouble with this, you should
contact AOL. Their tech support will help you to setup the needed logon for
their service.
