installling windows xp

I recently bought my first computer with no software
installed, I have purchased windows xp and tried to
install it, but a blue screen appeared with
STOP: 0x00000050
(0xc0BFFF85,0X00000001,OX807EF83D,0X00000002)
How do I rectify this in order to install windows XP?
