Installing XP

I am trying to install xp on a different computer. It is
just a 433 celeron with 192 megs ram. Now when I install
the cd on the formatted hard drive, it goes through all
the normal setup procedures. It will do the mini-setup,
get to the part where it asks me to install it and set up
any partitions if I want to. I go through all this until
it gets to the point where it says it will reboot and
take over from there. Once it does reboot, it just enters
the initial install phase again. It is just a continuous
loop that I can't seem to figure out.

If anyone can help me out it would be most appreciated.

You wouldn't be talking about the part where it
says "press any key to boot from cd" would you because you
only do that initally and when it comes around after
partition is made ignore it and let windows do what it
will, the next part you will be required to do anything
after partition will be regional and language settings.

network config, and entering the key would come up. I
just let it do it's thing and it just keeps going back to
the original install.

Failure to install MS operating systems usually is because of bad
hardware. Start by testing the RAM (www.memtest86.com) and if the RAM
is good (and let the test run for an extended period of time, like all
day or overnight), then test the hard drive (mftrs. have utilities).
