Installing XP Pro on SATA drive

I've bought a new PC, shinny with lots of flashing LEDs.

Anyway, I went for a SATA drive, and I've got a spare (and a 2-3 year old)
copy of XP Pro that I want to install on it. Problem is that the
installation does not find a hard drive (nb: bios finds it ok). How can I
install XP?

Tools that I have are:
1 laptop running XP, with CDRW and lots of storage.

Thanks

Richard.

Press F6 to install the SATA drivers during the setup process (you will need
them on a floppy disk)

I had the same issue with a Dell Precision 370 and the solution was to
change the BIOS to "combination" and this allowed me to install XP as I
would on an IDE based PC.
