installing XP on a sata drive

During installation, I pressed F6, XP prompted for a
driver disk for the mass storage device, (via sata raid
controller, Asus A7V600 motherboard, WD360 drive). The
floppy contained the drivers from the Asus set-up. The XP
install gave an error code (sorry I didn't write it down)
and would not accept the drivers.
 
Hello Frank

Try going to www.asus.com come and get the latest drivers
from their. Also you may want to update your system bios
I had similar issue and by updating the bios it fixed my problem
on a asus p4c800 deluxe
