Installing WindowsME AFTER Windows XP

Hello!

I have windowsXP installed in my computer and because of
some software incompatibilities I would like to switch to
a Dual Boot System with windowsME too.

Yes, I have read on the issue and I understand that I
should install windows ME BEFORE xp. The bad thing is i
wouldn't like to Many programs installed, some take a
big effort to be configured and I would like to do it the
other way round.

I have read in the knowledge base a method to do what I
want, but it is aimed to installing windows98 over
windows2000, and it involves the use of the emergency
recovery disks (which apparently no longer exist under
winXP).

So, can anyone help me in this issue? Is there a similar
document regarding winXP and winME?

Thank you for the help. Sadly, my winXP installation is
over NTFS (I had already read that great article before).

I guess I'll have to swallow and do a full instalation
(which I should have done to begin with). Thanks for the
effort.
