Is it possible to install Windows XP Pro (not SP1) onto a 160 GB HD?
I know XP didn't support drives over 130 until SP1. I want to load XP
and then immediately apply SP1... but I'm not sure it that will
corrupt my drive.

Thanks!

Better check this site for more posts on why not to use the entire
drive. Three partitions would be better. A small one for the OS, one for
programs and one for data. 20/70/70 for example. Defragmenting would be
easier and shorter. You would probably only defrag the OS once a month.
The others depending on usage. You were thinking of defragging? Amongst
other things. :-)
