Installing Windows XP in SATA drive

HI all,
sorry for my bad englisch.I have qeuestation about installing windows
xp in the notebook with SATA drive and without diskete drive . How I
add drivers for SATA in the install ?

Hi,

what's the problem? SATA is compatible with standard IDE, so you should have no
problem. Later after instalation you can update your drivers by downloading from
internet or CD...

If you have compatibility problems, try to disable RAID in BIOS, I think you have only
one HDD in your notebook ;)

I have trouble with driver for SATA drive. Windows XP cannot detect
drive ... And kompactible mode I cannot find in the bios ....

The laptop mftr. will have drivers for your SATA drive. Most OEM restore
cd's (or the operating system cd if one came with your system) will
have the SATA drivers slipstreamed into their reinstallation media. If
you don't have the reinstallation media that came with the laptop, here
are a few things to try:

1. Contact the laptop mftr.'s tech support for replacement of their
reinstallation media. This should be your first step.

2. Purchase a usb floppy drive and get the SATA drivers from the laptop
mftr.'s website for their drive controller. Put the drivers on a floppy
and press F6 early in the Windows installation process. You will be
prompted for the drivers.

3. Slipstream the drivers into your XP cd.

Slipstream RAID or SATA controller drivers:
