Installing Win98 on another partition with Xp existing on one.

How do I install Win98 on another partition when Xp is exisiting on another ?
Xp is installed on C: drive. I want to have 98 on D: When i try doing it in dos mode , the 98 setup recognises the D(fat32): as C: as Zp is on NTFS(C but still doesn't install on many tried. please help.
