Installing PETSHOP 3.0

Is it not possible to install PetShop 3.0 without having either SqlServer or Oracle in the local machine or a remote machine?? Cant i bypass the database installation part while installing PetShop??
 
Hi,
AFAIK, PetShop installation goes always with database installation.

Why not install MSDE and install Petshop, if you don't have SQL server or
Oracle?

I cannot install MSDE too as it is against the policies of the org where i work.. Thanks for the help.
