Installing Norton Security 2004

Norton tells me to disable the xp firewall before
installing and I can't get it done following their
instructions.Allso every time I go to xp's personal
assistant the page won't respond.
I really appreciate any help you can give me.

Start | Connect to
Right click each connection and choose Properties. On the Advanced tab
uncheck the option to use the firewall.
