Why must you scream?
(All uppercase lettering is, at the very least - more difficult to read and
not the normal communication method anywhere in type.)

You have a legitimate Product Key now? Try:

The Genuine Advantage Product Key Update Tool is only valid for
users attempting to change their current non-genuine Product Key
to a genuine COA sticker or genuine Product Key - all without a reinstall!
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=50346&clcid=0x409

If that does not work (and you have a compelling reason to install Windows
XP Home Edition over Windows XP Home Edition) try:

How to Perform a Windows XP Repair Install
http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm

How to perform an in-place upgrade (reinstallation) of Windows XP

thank you very much for your help, sorry about the caps, sometime i have
hard time seeing letters.. did not mean to offend you. poe 51

Please don't scream. All upper case is screaming, plus hard to read.

No, you don't have to unsintall anything. Boot from the XP CD and
everything, literally everything, will be done for you just by following the
instructions on screen. You MUST boot from the CD.
Just pay attention, and be sure to read all the information it gives you.
Also, write down any error messages that come up. There shouldn't be any,
but one never knows.

Be certain to backup any files, emails, etc., that you want to keep or
they'll be lost. The entire drive will be erased, repartitioned, and
reformatted during this process.
