I have tried to install a few software programs which are
XP compatible. I am runnung XP home edition. After
putting the cd in, the cd start running the way it
should. The first window box pops up with this error.
And its always the same error.

This is the error message I keep getting:
CDSetup.exe - Entry point not found

The procedure entry point could not be located in the
dynamic link library user32.dll.

Would appreciate any help on this. Thanks.

Hi,

Start/run "sfc /scannow"

You may need your WinXP CD for this system file integrity check.
