Installing New Fonts on Windows XP?

I'm trying to help someone install new fonts on her Windows XP Home computer, and she
doesn't have the Administrator password.

When installing new fonts on Windows XP, is it necessary to log in as Administrator?

Not as the Administrator (the built in Administrator account), but logged on
an account with admin privileges, i.e. an administrator.
