Installing new fonts; missing "Install New Font" option

In the help it says:

To add a new font to your computer

1) Open Fonts in Control Panel.
2) On the File menu, click Install New Font.

No such menu option is shown.

Ideas?

Nice to know that it works for you, although it doesn't help me. As
outlined in my OP the same procedure doesn't work here.

Setting the folder to "read only" fixed it (folders can't be set to
"system"), very strange behaviour imo.
