Greetings!

I hope that someone from this group can offer me some
advice. I have purchased some Russian-language software
that I would like to use on my Win2000 pro platform, but
the characters are indecipherable. I can view and type
documents in Russian without a problem, but anything that
requires system fonts is...well...impossible. Does anyone
know how to upgrade my system?

Worst case scenario: is it possible to install on one
system an English and a Russian version of the same OS,
choosing between them at start up. At least then I could
_sometimes_ use the software.

Thanks for your help,

Sure, and it's does not even requires an upgrade.
Unlike say Windows 95/98/ME, your Windows 2000 is capable
of switching system fonts 'on the fly'.
See "Full Russification" section on my site.
