Installing IIS 5,1

pls, can someone to help me.
I just try to install IIS on my pc (Lenovo 8138-7KG) and i receive the
belove dialog message

"Eccezione durante la chiamata della routine del gestore per iis.
Indirizzo del Gestore 0x773392a3
Funzione = 0xa
Param1=0x0 Param2=0x0
Tipo di eccezione=0xc0000005 Addr=0x77c13869"

and i can only click on button "OK"
after the installation finished.
But, obviuosly, IIS don't Work!!!!!!!
Why???? Where is the problem? for the rest, all work Prprely!!

2 other suggestions, post in one the IIS newsgroups, as the Guru's there are
more likely to have an answer, and if you don't translate it to English, be
sure to post in one of the IIS "spanish" (they have an "es" either
before/after the "public" in the name).

I have perform a search inside the Lenovo site for solve this problem, but
the "lenovo wolrd" is only for lotus notes, domino, etc., ( IBM(?) products)
Win xp don't exists!

The services IISADMIN is on but on the MMC console i can't see the Snap-in
and the predefined Site is missing; on disk there are the directories, if try
to ping, from cmd line, the localhost or the ip Addr 127.0.01 i received the
correct answer;
from IE if I try to see the page localhost I receive the standard error.
Another pc in my office, perfectly equal, the installation of IIS have
required just 5 minutes.

then, where is the knot???????
