Installing driver for printer

I need install printer driver for HP LaserJet 3055(network printer,
attached to another PC).
Since microsoft driver installation instructions and HP installation
instructions are contradictory, its not fully clear which way correct.

HP instruction refers to download driver from HP site:

microsoft instruction refers to installation via Wizard: Printers and
Faxes -> Add Printer -> Add Printer Wizard ->Local or Network printer
->A network printer, or a printer attached to another computer ->
Browse for printer..

MS Wizard printer install will try to "copy" the driver that is "shared" off
the other PC. It is always recommended to get the driver directly from the
manufacturer's (HP) web site.

Not clear at all. What is logic? I've already installed driver via M$
Wizard. It seems this Wizard take driver from network printer(shared HP
printer). If this is wrong, how to uninstall driver correctly? for
further downloading driver from hp site and installing it as "right"
driver. It strange that driver installed via M$ Wizard put no any
tracks - I can not find it in Program files, nowhere.
