When I first installed Windows Vista ultimate, I did an upgrade from XP. I
now want to install it as a clean verison.

Will I have any problems with activiation. I am installing on the same
computer.

Thanks

Every installation of Vista is a "clean" install - when you "upgrade" vista
saves application and data and then does a clean install.

If that is so, why does Vista sometimes refuse to do an upgrade claiming
that it is disabled (this is from Vista Business 32 DVD upgrade). It seems
to me, it should make no difference.

Like Ivory soap (99.9% pure) - major reason for message about upgrade being
disabled is due to attempts to install from the DVD drive rather than from
within XP.
