installing 0ffice 2007

I now have Microsoft Word 2002 & Works 2002 installed I want to install
Microsoft Home & student 2007. Do I have to uninstall 2002 before installing
2007?

Office should offer to upgrade Word2002, but uninstalling both Word & Works
(which isnt an office app) would do no harm
