Installer project

The MSI group seems a bit dead, so I hope nobody minds me posting this in
here where I assume somebody has experience?

How do I add CommonApplicationData as a special folder for my installer
project to install into? I want all users to share a specific file.

Also I need to specify the install path as a value
in the registry, for example

01: The user installs my main app.
02: At a later date the user installs a plugin, the destination needs to be
{FirstAppPathFromRegistry}\Plugins


Can anyone help me with these two items please?

Please try NSIS or InnoSetup.
