Installer probs

Im havin problems wit the installer...Wen i try to download a application it
downloads but wen i try to open it, the application wont open it says:Windows
cannot access the specified device,path or file. You may not have the
appropriate permissions to access the item.
And wen i try to remove the program...It says:The installer has insufficient
privileges to modify this file:and puts the file path.
What shud i do?

Hey,it didnt work
I jus tried removin a program and it sed the same thing and then in the end
it says :Fatal error during installation.
Pls help...What shud i do?

Ye its jus one program,MSN Messenger.But i tried installing Java but the same
thing happened.I was erasin sum stuff b4 i downloaded it,do u think i did
sumn wrong?
I think i must have erased sum stuff that had to do wit the installer...Am
relly confused.

I think it wa a folder sayin 'common files' or sumn like that.

Hi,

If you are unsure what you did, it will be difficult to fix it. I would
suggest you do a repair installation to replace anything that is now
missing. You will find the steps here:

Be careful in what you delete, while some things may seem unneeded, if you
don't know precisely what something is for then it is best left alone.
