Installed SP2 and try to install Visual Studio .net ...

Hello, I'm a student in programmation and I Really really really need
Microsoft Visual Studi0 .net on my computer... Service pack 2 was already
installed on my computer when i tried to install VS .net else prerequisites
seems to never be ok .. he always ask me to instal prerequisites and It's
already done.. i triend to update them but again.. i can't install Visual
Studio..

Thanks for help.. (I tried to uninstall SP2 and probleme still here)

Hi,

It will help if you could specify the exact error message thats displayed by
VS.NEt when it fails to install.

Also try to go to Add/Remove programs and uninstall the .NET Framework and J#.

Then insert the Prerequsites disk, manually browse to the .NET Runtime
directory (netfx.msi) and install it. Then install J# runtime in a similar
manner. Once that's compeleted. Then start VS.NET Installer and see what
results you get.

There is no error message... all i can is click on step 1
(install prerequisites) and when done / restart and
all ... it's the same think.. i can't install visual
studio..


I will try to uninstall and reinstall like you said
manually..
