Installed programs on different partition

OS: Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional
Version: 5.00.2195 Service Pack 4

A question regarding installed programs.
Can I reinstall all my programs currently in
C:\Program Files to another partition on
the same or different drive?
This would include Office 2000
I intend to format C

 Any help or advice appreciated

Re:
Yes, you can, as long as you do it AFTER you
have formatted C: and re-installed Windows
2000. Note that some applications will insist
on installing themselves into c:\Program Files.
