Installed program shortcut

After I install a new program, a shortcut is created and added into All
Programs group. I discover that the new shortcut is added to the bottom of
the group on some XP Pro machines whereas is added and sorted alphabetically
on others. Is there any setting somewhere to control it?

Hi Ray,

You can r-click any shortcut in the programs list and choose "sort by name"
to arrange them alphabetically. You can also drag them to whatever order you
want.

Thanks for your reply. I know how to do it manually but it appears to me
that the system can be set up to do it automatically. Thus I would like to
set it up to do it automatically. Any idea!
