Installation woes

Hi,

I have a HP system which has XP Home Pre-insatlled. I have just run the HP
system recovery and I am now starting to go through the "Welcome to Windows"
screens - with a major problem. The problem is that no matter what i enter
into the computer name/description fields when i click on the next or skip
buttons the process just hangs and doesn't go any furthur.

Please help
