Installation Sequence

I want to do a clean install of Windows 2000 on my Compaq
EVO Laptop (Originally with Windows Me installed).

I have purchased a larger hard disk, and Windows 2000 Pro
(Full Product).

Starting from a freshly Formatted disk, which is the ideal
install sequence?

1. Windows 2000, SP4 and then the latest Compaq drivers.
or
2. Windows 2000, the latest Compaq drivers and then SP4

Always install the Latest Service pack as the FIRST step
before installing anything.
Some drivers require a certain service pack level before
they will work corectly.
