Installation issue- failing due to OS validation check

I have a genuine copy of Window XP SP2 with a site license agreement. I have
4 of 20 laptops from an academic lab that are failing on due to a validation
error when Defender begins to install. The other laptops were successfully
installed by pushing Defender through the network. All the laptops were
installed using the same disk. In the event that there may be an issue with
the OS, I reinstalled XP and ran all the current updates and it still fails.

Suggestions?

Can you try to run on those 4 laptops this test WGA diagnose test,
connection to MS, that scripts working and a new Validation tool
