installation failure

my IE cannot start, so i reinstall XP, but the pc will
reboot suddendly when it is during the
process 'installing windows'

what should i do?

Hi Michael,

what should i do?

Not reinstall Windows. Just reinstall Internet Explorer. Go to the control
panel/folder options/view tab, set it so you can see hidden and system
files. Then open Windows Explorer to C:\Windows\Inf, locate the ie.inf file
and right-click it, choose "install" to begin.
