Hi Thor,

Are you sure it's on the CD? What version of Office 2000
are you installing? If it NOT Small Business Edition
(which doesn't include PowerPoint), click on Start,
Settings, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs.

Slide down until you see Microsoft Office 2000, click on
Change, wait and then click on Add or Remove Features, the
next window should allow you to add PowerPoint. Follow
the remianing prompts.

HTH,
Glenna

I reloaded Office 2000 on Windows 2000, but Powerpoint
doesn't seem to be installed. I see it on the CD, but
can't find on the hard drive...did I do something wrong or
am I missing something? Please help

It is Small Business edition, but I see it on the CD...but if it's not supposed to install with this, maybe that's my problem. Do you think I can use the PP from another 2000 (not SB) disk?

If it's not the SB edition, (i.e. O2K Pro) it should install PPT.

Whatever it is you see, it isn't PowerPoint or an installer for it. There
might be a "stub" PowerPoint EXE file that does nothing, but PowerPoint
isn't part of SBE.

As long as it's not an upgrade CD, probably so. To avoid possible issues
with mixed versions, I'd be inclined to uninstall Office SBE and then
reinstall the whole works from the other CD, if that's practical.
