HP workstation xw8000. I'm doing a re-install of XP Pro and part way through
the set-up I get "LSI adapter hasn't passed windows logo test" ( it did when
I originally installed) Even if I ignore that and keep moving on my 25 # code
is not valid. Obviously it was a couple of days ago before I began
re-installing. Could these in someway be related?

Which code? The CD key code on the PC case, on the XP CD "folder" or
elsewhere.

Are you trying to re-install XP Pro from a non HP restore media?
