Hi,
I have an office with 14 computers running Windows XP Pro. I am planning to
install SP2 on these machines over the weekend. I have downloaded the
service pack EXE from the Microsoft website and uncompressed the file into a
directory on my network file server. I would like to install the service
pack from this uncompressed drive to speed up the installation process (so
each machine does not have to uncompress the file onto the local hard drive)
but can not figure out how to. There is no SETUP.EXE in the generated \i386
directry and when I run WINNT32 I get an error message regarding an invalid
installation directory.
Can someone help me out?
Thanks,
Rich
