Install SP3 without CD?

I've tried to install service pack 3 with little success. This because it
tells me to put in the CD ROM for windows XP office. I downloaded another
installationfile from microsoft's site that could solve this but it still
asks me to search for my CD.

I have no idea where my CD is, I don't even know if I have it. What I can
remember is that XP was already installed on the computer when I got it and
therefore I have never cared for a CD.

So, is there any other way to install SP3?

If you are putting in your Windows XP CD - that's the wrong one.
SP3 is for Microsoft Office - a seperate product from Windows.

You MAY be able to download the FULL installer file and get around the need
for SP3 - but you'd be better off finding your media (getting it from the
system manufacturer/etc) for Microsoft Office...

I actually tried to put in the only CD I have for Office, and that is
"Microsoft Office Standard Edition 2003". That didn't work...

Well - as far as I know - there is no SP3 for Office 2003... So that is
*not* the version of Microsoft Office media you should be looking for if it
is trying to install what i can only assume to be Office XP... You need the
media for Office XP.

Now I remember that CD is for the other computer... I guess I can search
trough my packs of CD's again and see what I can find.

Thanks anyway for the replies!
