Install Scripting ????????????

I am haveing much trouble with my W/2000 Pro. I have
vertual mem: proplems even after I set it. I am presantly
having installation problems. The 1607 Error comes up and
says that it is having script problems with the
installer. What is the problem????????????????

I am a lone user. I do everything myself, I do not have
$$$$$$ for some other joker to play with this and then God
knows what they do with it. Please help
