help would be great.

AMD 3700, ASROCK 939 DUAL SATA, ANTECH 1050B CASE, EVGA 6800GT AGP, ANTECH

1st chk youre jumper pins on the hd,2nd,enter the BIOS,advanced, boot
priority (or similiar),select the cdrom or rw with xp in it as 1st boot
device,
list hd as 2nd,save and exit BIOS.This is taking into account that youve
already
set up the BIOS correctly, but it doesnt sound like it.

I'm having a similiar problem (check your hard drive mode in the bios).
Can anyone help me with this question, though?:

When I originally installed my hard drive and WinXP, I had the mode in
the bios set to Large instead of LBA by mistake. Now I want to set it
to LBA, but when I do this I always get an error upon booting that says
"NTLDR is missing". This seems to only be a problem with the bootsector
because when I boot off of a disk I can read everything on the drive
just fine (I kept it FAT32). Is there a way to convert the bootsector
so that ntldr works ok? Maybe some program out there that I don't know
about?
