Install New Retail Versions of Vista With SP-1??

Frank S

I've tried everything to get SP-1 to load on both my PCs with no luck. This
question is for MS engineers: If I were to purchase two new retail editions
of Vista Home Premium (32 bit) with SP-1 embedded in the O/S, would they load
properly?

Perhaps if you outlined what your problem was regarding the inability to
install SP1 someone could help you. I certainly would 'not' be looking at
throwing good money after bad by buying two further copies of Vista in the
hope that they will install. You may have driver problems that are causing
SP1 to refuse to install.

Is the problem concerning the Windows Update version of SP1 or are you using
the stand alone version? See this link from my website:

visit the links indicated on my web page to learn about installing SP1
