INSTALL.LOG

I'm trying to uninstall a program through Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel, but I get an error message back that says that INSTALL.LOG cannot be opened. This also happens if I try to uninstall through the application itself. I tried re-installing the app and then uninstalling it, but I encountered the same problem

I'm using Windows XP Pro. What can I do to overcome this obstacle?
 
try reinstaling the program andthe uninstall.

As I have already said in the original post, I tried that and it did not work. I am looking for another solution.
 
Sorry I just woke up. lol What application are you trying to uninstall?
