I am running xp home ed on a compaq laptop and I attached
a floppy drive via the parallel port to access some
files. The floppy wasn't recognized so I tried to install
the floppy with the install hardware wizard. It didn't
work. (I thought floppy driver was already included in
xp.) Now, whenever I turn on my laptop, the install
wizard pops up and says that it has recognized a new
printer. Well, that is not true. How can I stop the
wizard from coming up every time I turn my computer on?
