install goof

Reinstalled with disk, C:drive was split 250G hard drive delete drive f: let
xp install,have only c:drive F/drive doesn't show.

? How can I format f:drive to show back to use?
Without loading windows all back in and redo drive?

CMD prompt wouldn't work DOS cmd fdisk
Tryed to load win98 strtup disk to get a a: prompt.

Use the Windows built-in disk management tool. You can launch it by
running this command in the Start menu Run box: diskmgmt.msc You will
have to create a new partition in the unallocated space and then you
will be able to format it. For more information search the Windows help
files.

Go to administrative tools/ Computer Management/disk management
is there a huge amount of unallocated space showing?? does it match the
partition you deleted??
or do you now have a 250gb C drive??
If you format the unallocated space you will have your F drive
back...........
If that F partition is now part of the C partition you will need 3rd party
software to repartition.BootIT NG is fairly good and free for 30
days....just download...expand to a floppy and start machine with floppy in
place.When machine starts cancel the Program install and a screen will show
with "partition Work" click on it and pick the drive,...
Instuctions are in the readme file
