I put a copy of Office 2003 on a frients computer and then came home to find
that my version of office 2003 did not work. I was getting problems in Word
that said "file not available" and someting in excel regarding the virus
scanner. I looked through the newsgroups and thought I have a problem with
Norton Anti Virus-I had an old copy on my system-- so I deleted it. It
didn't fix it.
I realized I wasn't "allowed" to have more then one running copy of Office
2003, so deleted mine and had my friend delete theirs. I figured that a new
install would trump the other but I still problems with word and excel. Then
I started problems with de-installing from the control panel, error was "the
temp folder is on a drive that is full or inacessible" and then tried to
install again and received "error 2203 fatal error during installation". I
tried to de-install Microsoft money as a test and received the same error.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any help!
