insertion point position

There should be a VBA function that returns the current position of the
insertion point. (distance from top of page, from left edge of the page and
number of page where insertion point is) If there is, I was not able to find
it (I am using Word 2003)

You've asked this in an end-user group, which explains why you've waited so
long for an answer. VBA questions should be asked in one of the word.vba
newsgroups.

Take a look at the Selection.INFORMATION property; there are a couple of things
in there that return vertical and horizontal positions relative to the page, as
well as the current page number.
