NEVERMIND....false alarm!!

I should have searched a little harder before posting my question. I see it
everywhere! I just changed the file extension from .avi to .mpeg and it works!

This is the post that helped me the most...from Echo S:

Check the tip near the bottom of the page at
http://www.powerpointbackgrounds.com/powerpointtips.htm (Just rename the AVI
with an MPEG extension instead.)

Hi,

Yep. I experienced this as well a while ago. Glad you got it sorted.

computer, but in the classroom it gives me an error about not being able to
find the "vids:mjpg decompressor" i have no idea how to fix that. it isnt
just my computer that it works on either. it works on several other

How do I insert Windows Media 9 Video (.avi) into PowerPoint 2002?

This seems simple, I agree. But how do I change the extension from .avi to
..mpg? I can't find the option to "Save file as..." Is that how I change the
extenstion? I have a feeling this is simple, and my brain just isn't working
right today.
