inserting random transitions between pictures automatically

Random not possible to my knowledge

add first clip twice, drag a transition between, drag rest of clips
between - will pick up the same transition

then I suppose you could randomly replace a few

or you can use AutoMovie to add your clips and random transitions.

automovie will not necessarily use all the pictures if that is what you want

That's true,,,, and I don't think it'll use all the transitions randomly
either.
