inserting movie

Hi I'm trying to insert a movie into a slide. It's a flash presentation
that's going in the middle of a Powerpoint. Is there any way to incorporate
it into the slide? I try to insert it and give it a file name, but don't have
a file extension. If I just give it a name but no file extension, it just
sits there. Any suggestions or ideas?

Are you attempting to insert flash file(.swf) into PowerPoint?
If so, you will need to enable the control toolbox which is under View >
Toolbars.
